With the holidays coming up, people are starting to pick out gifts for their loved ones. While this time of year is one of my favourites, it can also get really expensive. However, if you do most of your shopping online, there are a few tricks that can save you some cash along the way.
The annual Sephora fall sale is coming up, with Rouge members having access to the sale from November 1-11, and everyone else having access from November 7-11. As usual, Rouge members will have a 20% off discount, while VIB members will receive 15% off their purchases, and Beauty Insider members will get 10% off. Since the sale is soon, I wanted to share some of my top tips for getting the most value out of the Sephora fall sale.
“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.” Anna-Marie Bonneau
This Friday, millions of students around the world will skip school to protest their politicians’ lack of action regarding climate change. It’s no secret that the Earth is in bad shape. While it’s true that this is largely due to the actions of politicians and major corporations, many of us are also living unsustainable lives which doesn’t help. While you don’t need to fully go zero waste, we can all make low or no waste swaps in our daily lives in order to minimize our ecological footprints.
As the temperature drops, the leaves start to turn yellow, and the children scream at the school by my house, it’s hard to ignore one obvious fact: fall is pretty much here. Other than the screaming kids, this is hands-down my favourite time of the year! It’s always been nice to curl up with lots of blankets and sip lattes, but lately, even though I didn’t think it was possible, there have been a few things that have made this extra-cozy time of year even better!
It’s the end of August, which means that fall is right around the corner. Even though I know I’m probably in the minority, I’m really excited for summer to end- fall is my favourite season! There’s nothing I love more than watching the leaves change colours, sipping on PSLs, and transitioning to my cozy fall/winter clothes. However, clothes aren’t the only thing that need to be transitioned during this time of year. As the weather cools down and the humidity drops, there are also various aspects of your skincare routine that you should be readdressing.
